Heroes amongst us
and within us

A wobbly gooey mass that weighs only 3 pounds. Yet consumes 20 percent of energy. And directs 100 percent of actions. But mostly outside conscious awareness.

That’s your brain.

On this podcast, you’ll listen to how regular people like you and me reclaim power from their visceral emotions and instinctive reactions to show up with empathy, courage and wisdom in their decisions and interactions.

There won’t be Nobel prize winners or mountain climbers on this podcast—although there can be. It’s a podcast that celebrates the Hero in all of us who show up every day in our messy and complex lives with an imperfect brain that evolved over millennia to keep us safe.

What helps us be the parent / partner / person we want to be?
What gets in the way and makes us reactive or self-righteous?
Why do we even try, and what draws us forward?

As you listen to each episode, I hope for two things in particular. One, that you’ll learn to be more accepting and forgiving of yourself. Living well is not for the faint-hearted—you will stumble and fall again and again. I hope it brings a sense of okayness to it all.

And secondly, I hope it helps you see your own brilliance and to tap into your inherent wisdom and courage. Because eventually our stories are all the same. And when we listen to others like us tell their story, we see the hero in ourselves.

Life and leadership coach, author,
researcher, and founder of the
Goodbye Perfect Project.

I bring you science-backed tools and soulful guidance to live, love and lead with a brave heart and a wise brain in a messy, complex, often misguided, yet insanely magical world.

My work is based on a dual master’s degree in Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology, and postgraduate research on the underlying processes that block competent and conscious women from creating what they desire in any area of life.

I’ve developed a unique and proprietary methodology that gets to the heart of what holds women back, and that empowers them to live their lives on their own terms despite the challenges that still exist in our workplaces and societies.

Season 1

The first season was me diving headlong into the podcast world with tons of energy but without a defining concept. The episodes are varied with something for everyone. You’ll find strategies for everyday challenges, and reflections for the bigger questions of life.
Listen and enjoy!
